UAE Tires Safety Road Show

UAE Tires Safety Road Show
(UAE TSR Show)

""When you want to catch fish, you need to be at sea or river and move away from the mainland""

""You cannot be a fisherman, if you have never been at sea""

In addition to a wide spread awareness in social media networks and all over the internet, still one need to go out there and promote the road safety - in this case on Tires Safety to drivers on the UAE road who are probably most of them not even have time to sit in-front of PC or laptop, let alone if they have one and read / learn all awareness that we all promote.

I'm planning to raise the awareness in even more effective way on the UAE road itself. From young to old, from saloon to container vehicles drivers, I will reach to them with a well plan safety message on safety tires of their vehicle.
The UAE Tires Safety Road Show will be covering most part of the busy roads of the country covering more than 1,700km and about more than 25hrs drive depends on traffic and stops.

When: Not decided but will be this year 2014

1st Route: From Abu Dhabi, Al Gharbia, Al Ain upto Ras Al Khaimah.

2nd Route: From Ras Al Khaimah, Um Al Quwain, Ajman, Sharjah, Dubai and back to Abu Dhabi .

I will update on the progress.  Please watch for #UAEroadsafety in tweeter and facebook.

Thanks

UAE Emiratization - Starts from Top to Down

I know how important for the country to have all school, university or college leavers to get job in their own country, and I cannot stress enough how the UAE government give priority for this issue.

We all respect and support young UAE generation that is more open minded and educated to get well paid job and climb the career ladder.  And I'm sure there out there some UAE nationals who can hold highest posts in well known Government run companies instead of foreigners.

Yes, we all need a good most experience employee to hold such high posts as CEO, CEOA, AOO, and whatever you can call it or is known out there, but my point for such posts in a Government run company is better to be from the own soil and blood of UAE, and foreigner as can be as "Advisor"

Read below articles you will find top position is not what we expect.

And so many others top posts, I hope soon will come a time, such posts can be run by UAE Nationals.

I predict in less than ten years time UAE can have Cheap labour from Europe same like what it used to get from other East and Asian countries.

World is circle around and spinning and I think world will change from those what so called "first World" will be 2nd or 3rd and those so called "third world" will be first.

Ask anyone at present how is the economy in Europe and USA/Canada,,,NOT GOOD....So why they still deserve to get more when arrive and work in UAE?

God Bless UAE.

Jumeirah's first hotel in UAE capital Abu Dhabi

What a place, no words to explain it, just go and visit or book a room and see for yourself.

Indeed Jumeirah at Etihad Towers, is part of a new iconic, a unique  five-towers complex in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE. I just visited with my wife at Rose water restaurant for A Saturday morning breakfast.  It was a unique experience, though we visited most of the 5 stars hotels in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, but this is just a restaurant located within the ground floor of the hotel that really stand out.

Rosewater restaurant is the fabulous buffet restaurant with outdoor terrace seating overlook the sea, also offers diners a fine selection of tasty international cuisine with live cooking stations located throughout the this fantastic venue.

Breakfast was really really good, we really enjoyed the food, I don;t how they cook and why is different than other 5 stars hotels, the design and set of the place also is unique, hotel reception        design also unique - no words to explain this new hotel under Jumeirah group in Abu Dhabi.

Go on and explore below useful links about Jumeirah at Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi:

Abu Dhabi - Al Bateen Beach — Away From Traffics & High rise towers

Four years ago I used to jog and training for marathons at Al Bateen area in Abu Dhabi, sometimes alone and other times with Abu Dhabi striders.

Also once in a while driving with family and park our car near the un-official beach, where people just park their cars here and there on the sand and nearby concrete ground,  no showers and no toilets.  But still you will find residence swim either alone or with family.
Fundraising with GoGetFunding

I was so impressed with changes that took place within just two years.  Al Bateen Beach in Abu Dhabi changed for good.  The beach is public one, clean, all necessary facilities available such as showers , toilets, kiosks for refreshments, life guards, security, kids playgrounds and best of all for me is the parking.

You park your car and you can see beach infront of you, this is totally different than the one at Corniche where you cannot find any parking facilities near the beach.

Travelers rank Dubai's worst hotels - What's all this fuss about?

One of the major news sources reported this recently, and to my surprises, everyone just tweets to their followers, other are major news sources too. Is it right? just to tweets whatever we hear and read?

Personally, Am not against anything, but for sure those ten hotels names mentioned in the report will be really pissed off. to learn that their hotel rates worse just based on reviews from "Trip advisor" (TA). Honest sometimes we tend to forget ourselves and to depend too much on some website that build their names out of other people reviews and says, instead of doing our own research too. Do you think I will care much of who ever one says in "Trip Advisor"? nope. I know TA done excellent job on their website and they help a lots of customers, but I guarantee you no one is perfect. I myself member in TA and I participate to reply some of travelers to Dubai in the forum though I'm not much active as other members, who are like full time job for them to reply to all never ending questions from travelers.

eviews can be based on so many facts and I do agree it will give some kind of picture about the hotel that is reviewed. But I'm against depending on one website and to categorize these 10 hotels in Dubai as a worse one without even consulting those hotels about those reviews about them.

Don't we all deserve equal rights and opportunities? As I'm traveler myself, I know what kind of hotel I will be stay as per budget, and my standard, and I believe each one of us do that. So some travelers used to stay 5 star hotels , and other years cant afford to stay in one, and also at the same time dont want to miss opportunity to visit Dubai, as result they will book less stars hotels. Do you expect to receive some services as they used to have before? No. Some travelers have issue with management or one person at the hotel and when go back home will start to write bad review about that hotel.

Sure I did experience myself bad services / delays / facilities at the hotel but is that will make worse hotel? In short the worse hotel for you is the 5 stars for others. Questions is before you send review to TP, ask yourself, did you stay in the right hotel, according to your budget and standard?

As for the news reporters, stop based your reports on one source only, how you will feel if your news company reported is the worse one based on reviews from one source. And also other media, please, do not tweets for the sake of tweet and getting more followers, review first what you tweet to your followers.

I'am not a professional writer but I hope you got my point. Please stick with your standards when you travel and research more, do not depend on one source.  You're also welcome to ask us too about Dubai and UAE in General for your next visit, but still research more and stick with the best info you have.

Have a wonderful day,

UAE cinema box office may reach low by 80% in Ramadan - You Know why?

In Any majority Muslim population country during Ramadan, most of activities are at the lowest this including in UAE, Dubai or any other cities in the country. You know why this happen in Ramadan?
Tip of  tallest tower in the world - The Burj Khalifa
I Will tell you in a moment, just want to mention that most of the Cinema operators in UAE from their experience of operating this business here, they know that in the month of Ramadan, they are less movie goers. And as result, hardly you can find new releases happening in this month. Big screen is one of the favorites meeting place in Dubai mostly by young generations and older alike.  There not less than 100 cinemas halls in Dubai follow by Abu Dhabi then other cities.

Each major shopping malls have more screens than the other. For example Reels Cinema in Dubai Mall have 22 screens, another major cinema operator in UAE is Grand Cinemas, they have more than 15 locations across the country, each one not more than 10 screens, and also another newly addition of cinemas is VOX cinemas also located in different malls in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

All am trying here is to give you a picture of the cinema business in UAE which become so famous, that there is no any new mall is complete without a movie screens, and in month of Ramadan business is slow.

From my experience as a Muslim, I call Ramadan is a month of Miracle. More people attend the prayers in the mosque than any other months, more helping hand, less crimes, less sins, less so many other activities that one can do in normal months.  As for movies, since we are kids, our parents teach us not to go to any movies in the month of Ramadan and not to listen to any music, and this become habit over time. Although no one will stop to go to the movie, even if Muslim, still you can go to the movie, but honest it feel different and no taste. I used to listen to the music while I drive and sometimes if there is a music play that I like, I tend to increase the volume.  But in Ramadan, I don't do that for 30 days.

But after Ramadan, and that is during the Eid Holidays, all cinemas are fully booked in all showing times in UAE for almost all three days during the Eid holidays and business booming again.  That is the time also they try to release new movies too.  I know some people never going to the movies only during the Eid Holidays.

I love Ramadan as after that it gives you sense of celebration that no one can ever feels until done or been there.  Just imagine after one month you will be able to eat during the day, that's why there is EID celebration, for me I will enjoy the music while I drive, and experience that feeling of watching a movie again in a big screen.

Have a Wonderful Day

Is UAE to be all year around high tourist destination?

High tourist season for the main Cities of UAE, Dubai and Abu Dhabi is from the month of October to March, that is the winter season for this part of the world, the highest temp estimate upto 27Degree and Lowest can reach 4degree at night in the desert areas.

The enjoyable months for outdoor activities, that is the time where live open concert are held outdoors, also outdoor activities, such as beach football competitions, most of Dubai and Abu Dhabi parks and beaches are full of visitors enjoying the weather and the beach. Most of the conferences and events are held too during this period. Such as Commercial events, air shows, Gitex, and many others. Is the Marathons season too. Such as Dubai Creek Striders, Dubai creek Half Marathon and full Dubai Marathon where runners all over the world attending in January. Also another famous yearly event in Ras Al Khaimah, RAK Half Marathon which is the best too in UAE. Abu Dhabi also host Half Marathon.

Hotels, Malls, water theme parks, attractions all become active and full of life. The most major event of all is Dubai Shopping Festival for the full month. Saying that, we know that low season is from April to September. Temp High upto 50's degree and very warm with high humidity, dusty wind, and a chance of Tropical storms in recent times. So who want to visit the country in such condition?

Well, just this year Dubai's hotels out performed the region hotels by high occupancy rates in June. In Abu Dhabi too.  The main reason is that, there is nothing impossible in UAE to make your stay in the country, safe, cool and enjoyable no matter the weather condition. Important here is safety, UAE is the safest place you can be in than in any other countries.

So in Summer, you can visit the shopping malls, which some of them are huge and you can even spend the whole day in one shopping mall, there are air conditioned souks in Dubai so you do not have to go to Spicy Souk or Mena Bazaar in Bur Dubai, those you may miss although you still can visit if you can bare the humidity, which at night or sunset not bad. But the souks we are talking about are such as those at Madinat Jumeirah and Souk Al Bahar in downtown Dubai near Burj Khalifa.   Also another major attraction is Dubai Summer Surprises and Abu Dhabi too have their own summer festival.

Dubai-UAE-Weather-Photos

Nature / Weather, am so interested with and find myself become a weather man for my company staff. In UAE there no much weather activities as in any part of the Middle East, and it was kind of boring for me nothing un-usual to report though I did informed about dusty wind, rain, sea condition, fog, and hail storms in Dubai or Abu Dhabi before the weekends.

Years passed by and in recent times there were many un usual weather activities in UAE, and in Middle East in general.  Is it Global warming?  Well who knows. But both Dubai and Abu Dhabi and other parts of the country received a good amount of rain and even caused flooding.

Abu Dhabi Corniche gets Blue Flag certification

Just five years ago, Abu Dhabi corniche was not even categorized as a beach or place to visit other than just walking or jogging. Abu Dhabi is the capital city of United Arab Emirates where Dubai is the second largest city.
Abu Dhabi Corniche. Photo credit: H Jaberi@copyrighted

I Must say Abu Dhabi Government done a great job at the Corniche, worked started two years ago and turn out to be the best beach to visit, in which Abu Dhabi they never had that before.
Beach with life guards on duty, shades for min charges, chairs, showers on the beach and clean toilets. Round O'clock security beach guards. Safe for family and couples. Beach is clean with white sand. The only not to expect is the waves as the beach is not direct with the main ocean as beaches in Dubai. There is a Lulu Island and wave breakers around it.

There is a section to enter for a entrance fee of about less than US$3.00 where there is beach shade and other facilities and another section is for free, but still one can use the showers from the public toilets located not far from the beach. Coffee shops and other outlets sell refreshments so not to worries if you feel need to have a snack or a drink.
